I am looking forward to it being a place for me to share progress, as well as for my children/students to be able to share their work and engage with their writing projects in an environment that may help them be more excited to share their research and learning.

I didn’t know that.

I’ve found that if I choose the photos I want to move by hard press then go to the 3 dots upper right corner it gives me the option to add to an album. Then you can delete them from the first if so desired.

Comment on Uploading Photos From Digital Cameras Into Blog Posts by Alan Shelby https://www.theedublogger.com/uploading-photos-from-digital-cameras-into-blog-posts/comment-page-2/#comment-20880 Thu, 26 Jun 2025 03:59:48 +0000 http://theedublogger.edublogs.org/?p=406#comment-20880 I used to directly upload my DSLR photos into WordPress and wondered why my site started lagging . One thing I’d add for folks using older or heavily edited photo..sometimes during resizing or format conversion (especially batch edits), you might notice weird distortions or image corruption. In those cases, tools like Stellar Repair for Photo can really help restore the original look without starting from scratch. Been a lifesaver for me a couple of times!

I am also glad I found this because it gives a lot of information I would not have even considered when it came to creating a blog for a classroom.

I know I did not think that far ahead when it came to blogging because I teach kindergarten so they would not be doing a lot of writing their own blogs but it could be a way to publish their work but all the consents would need to be in place to make sure that everything is taken care of legally is most important. IT could be great if it is only being shared with parents of the class but a lot of things would need to be considered like what to share, how to share it and make sure that all legal aspects are covered and my own administration would be okay with the blog.

Comment on Why Educators Blog: The Challenges, Benefits And Tips For Getting Started by cassandralw https://www.theedublogger.com/why-educators-blog/comment-page-1/#comment-20868 Sat, 07 Jun 2025 21:55:54 +0000 http://theedublogger.edublogs.org/?p=10553#comment-20868 When reading this, I notice how its put to support blogging. As a busy teacher, wife, mom, and student it is hard to find extra time for anything else. It also goes into details of goals being set for the blogging because setting goals can keep us on track. It allows for more interactions and even solutions to problems we may face in our own classrooms by having other teachers to talk to and collaborate with. You even included who you used quotes from since it would not let you tag them as well as links to different blog stories to make it easier to access the information.
